Shezus

My Brother showed me Lily Allen in 2006 and LDN is still a regular on any playlist I make.

Currently I am digging the new album, especially Our Time.

Its very pretty song and worth a listen, I would also check out Mark Ronson's Oh My God feating Lily, Its a great song.

Talking about Lily means I have to point out her October 2009 Elle UK Cover, It is hands down of my of favourite articles and probably my favourite issue of my favourite magazine. Pete Docherty has doodled all throughout the issue its fantastic.

SO I have this creepy Lizard. He live in Vegas.

I am so in love with Nevada.  I think that Vegas is the ultimate get a way.
Nothing about it is real. Nevada has the most boats per capita but its' in the middle of a desert, even the water is fake. With all the fake-ness you don't need to be your self. That is why I think it is the best get away, as nothing about it is real.

Not being my self I had to take a selfie

One of my favourite parts of Vegas is the design for all the hotels. I love walking about and checking out the architecture and the interior design. I'm so impressed by every detail that goes in to making up  a fake Caesar's Place in the middle of the States. Even the detail on the ceilings is beautiful.

These are my favourite ceilings.

Its also kinda fun when you put $20 in and come out with $174 ON FARRIS BULLER THE SLOT MACHINE !!

Those are just a couple reasons I like it there. Its also because I always go with pretty awesome Lizards, I mean people.

Maybe we will touch on Creepy Lizard an other time.

If there is one thing I can do its a Pardy.

I may be a raging Dyslexic but I do know that ParTy is spelt with a T, I just like it better with a D like Jamie in MIC*

The annual Christmas party is becoming quite the tradition with my friends and I. Two years ago SCB and I threw a beautiful X Mas shindig that has now blossomed in to the a spectacular event in which the men wear vests. Even the bar got dressed up this year donning its most beautiful Pineapple.

We are not the worlds best cooks but Z helped us prepare a menu that was manageable. Basically we put parmesan  on everything and called it fancy, but the main dish we did put a lot of work into.

Who doesn't want to each meat stuffed with things ?
The rollin its self took days.

Like I said the cooking isn't really SBC's and I strength. What we are really good as is 1. Fancy ass drinks, and 2. Setting up beautiful tables.

It was hard to fit everyone in.

2013's X-Mas do was focused around a nice big antler really setting the tone for the stuffed meat.

This is all I could find on my phone today, but I thought I would share one of my favourite events even though it happened several months ago.

*MIC or Made in Chelsea is a British Reality show of super rich British kids. If you look past the drama, it is a very entertaining English bachelor show as well as a great catalogue of bars and restaurants around Fulham and Chelsea.

Kate Moss for Topshop

One of my favourite pieces is a green Kate Moss for Topshop dress from the 2007 line.
I love it so much that I almost never wear it. None the less I think that Kate Moss and Topshop is a perfect paring.

Sarah tends to look much better in it anyways.

There is something to be said about the whimsical mix of 1920's and 1970's in one line. The amount of subdued sequins and comfortable loose fits is so suiting for both Kate and Topshop.  The formal wear has always had a similar feel to her John Galliano wedding dress. Which was also a very fitting coloration for her vintage wedding. While the formal wear could be modern versions of most dresses in Daisy Buchanan's wardrobe, the casual wear rocks a more 1970's vibe. With both tailored wide leg trousers and fringed out tops the line manages to touch on everything you would see Mrs Moss in herself. The 2014 line is as fabulous as all the lines that have come before including the 2007 line with my beloved green dress.

Here are a few of my favourites :
Embroidered Smock Dress

Lame Tuxedo Suit Trousers
Shadow Stripe Print Jumpsuit
Feather off shoulder Cocktail Dress

I had a broken ankle the first time I was in England

The day before my first trip to The UK I broke my ankle in P.E Class, as I am often hurt and very accident prone. Despite my miss fortune I loved England before I had left Gatwick. The farther my Mother and I ventured in to London the more smitten I was. Since that trip I have been determined to get back. I spent a year working in the Midlands when I was 18.
Aren't the Malvern Hills just the bomb !
What about the hole Leavers Do thing ? That was defiantly a high of the Year, right next to trips to Alton Towers and Thrope Park.
Iv also lived in France, which meant I could get to England in less than two hours.

I'll be back this summer as well. But most importantly I am moving to The UK this time next year. And that is what this blog is for, EVERYTHING BRITISH ! and bits and bobs like hamburgers and design. I hope you find this as fun as I do.
